At Mel’s home in Monroe, we completed a full bathroom renovation of her master bath. The project began with the safe demolition of outdated fixtures, including a jacuzzi and tiles, followed by a thorough assessment of the plumbing and electrical systems to ensure they met the new design requirements for the bathroom renovation.
We upgraded the plumbing with PEX pipes and installed a new shower valve system, linear drain, and a free-standing tub as part of the bathroom renovation. The electrical work included replacing the old fan with a new one that has a light and speaker, updating the light fixture over the vanity, installing a new GFCI outlet, and adding six recessed lights.
This bathroom renovation also involved custom framing for a walk-in shower and a shampoo niche, comprehensive waterproofing with lath paper, wire mesh, and floating cement, and the installation of wall and floor tiles throughout. To complete the renovation, we performed drywall repairs, painting, and installed new fixtures, including a shower head, vanity, mirror, sink, faucet, toilet, and a bathroom hardware set. The result is a beautifully modern and functional bathroom renovation that perfectly aligns with Melissa’s vision.
