For Mitch’s property in Seattle, we completed a comprehensive bathroom remodeling project, focusing on both the main and basement bathrooms.
In the main bathroom, we began with a complete demolition, removing all outdated cabinets, countertops, flooring, and fixtures. We framed the bathtub and created a custom shampoo niche to meet the customer’s preferences. To ensure long-lasting durability, we applied waterproofing measures, including lath paper, wire mesh, and cement boards on the shower walls.
The plumbing system was updated with PEX pipes, a new shower valve system, and a centered shower drain. We also raised the shower head for added convenience. The electrical work included installing a custom fan, replacing the vanity light fixture, adding GFCI outlets, switches, and two recessed LED lights.
Tile installation covered the shower area from floor to ceiling, ensuring proper waterproofing and sealing in all wet areas. Accent tiles and decorative elements were added according to the design specifications. We also installed a new bathtub, a 72-inch vanity with a sink, faucet, and countertop, and various bathroom fixtures, including the shower head, handles, mirror, toilet, and hardware set. Finally, the walls and ceiling were painted to give the space a fresh, polished look.
In the basement bathroom, a similar process was followed, including full demolition, plumbing updates, waterproofing, and the installation of tiles and fixtures. The result is a fully updated and functional space that enhances the comfort and aesthetics of Michael’s home.
